Combahee River

The Combahee is a blackwater river formed by the confluence of the Salkehatchie and Little Salkehatchie Rivers. The Combahee, which is the 'C' in ACE Basin, starts as a small, winding blackwater river but quickly widens into a large coastal waterway before emptying in to St. Helena Sound.
