Lake Moultrie

Lake Moultrie, a large and shallow lake, provides interesting paddling opportunities, especially around the forested and swampy shorelines, creeks, canals, islands and bays. While open water on Lake Moultrie can become choppy during a windy day, there are places along the shorelines to find breaks in the wind.

Adjacent Waterways: upstream, Lake Marion; downstream, Cooper River.
